Biography

I started working as an actor when an agent spotted me during a visit to the speech and drama school I attended during my childhood, where I trained and qualified under the LAMDA syllabus. During this time professional employment began, my first job being a "Colgate" toothpaste TV commercial in 1977 (I was six years old).

I am lucky enough to have undertaken a high calibre of work since the beginning of my career, as you may see from my credits. Over time I have been fortunate to work with and learn from a number of great actors, directors and other professionals.

During a period spanning almost thirty-five years I have played lead roles in an array of television, radio, film and theatre productions; from Fringe to the Royal Shakespeare Company, from soap operas to major dramas, from the small to the big screen.

In addition to my work as an Actor, I am engaged as a senior creative and operational director within the globally established and expanding Merlin Entertainments Group, currently in charge of a project in association with Dreamworks Animation LLC (if you'd like to know more about this side of my work, please feel free to get in touch).
